The app also allows users to capture screenshots of video frames, set a preferred 'Home location' folder, and save favorite folders for quick access. Home screen widgets and notification controls further enhance the app's accessibility, while lock screen notification controls and widgets provide convenient control even when the device is locked. The app also intelligently handles incoming calls, offering soft pause and soft resume options to minimize interruptions. Users can utilize their device's volume buttons to control VLC volume, manage multiple files on saved computers, switch audio output devices, and sort the browse list. The ability to save multiple host/computer addresses simplifies connecting to different devices, while the option to close or quit VLC Media Player directly from the app provides added convenience.
