The game revolves around the player taking on the role of a diligent patrol officer working alongside their colleagues at the police station to solve various cases. The core gameplay mechanic centers on leveraging witness testimonies to distinguish between innocent individuals and perpetrators. In this world, absolute honesty prevails, making witness accounts a reliable source of information. The player's primary objective is to carefully analyze these testimonies, identifying inconsistencies or corroborating details that lead to the correct identification of the guilty party and exoneration of the wrongly accused. The gameplay loop consists of thoroughly interviewing all individuals present at the scene, gathering their statements, and scrutinizing their words for clues. Once an innocent person is identified, the player interacts with them using the "listen" command, presumably to gather further information or offer reassurance. Conversely, when the culprit is pinpointed, the player switches to arrest mode and apprehends the offender, bringing them to justice. Each stage presents a new case with a fresh set of witnesses and challenges, requiring the player to adapt their investigative approach and critical thinking skills. The ultimate goal of each stage is to successfully interview all individuals involved, meticulously analyze their testimonies, and accurately determine the identity of both the innocent and guilty parties, thus resolving the case and restoring peace to the community.
