Overview

The Hik-Connect app is a versatile tool that allows users to connect and monitor various devices such as DVRs, NVRs, cameras, video intercoms, and security control panels. With this app, users can easily access real-time surveillance video and playback recorded footage from anywhere, whether it be their home, office, or workshop. One of the key features of the app is its ability to send instant notifications when an alarm is triggered, ensuring that users are promptly informed of any potential security breaches. In addition to real-time monitoring and playback, the Hik-Connect app also offers other useful functionalities. Users can control PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras remotely, allowing them to adjust the camera's position and zoom in or out as needed. The app also supports two-way audio intercom, enabling users to communicate with individuals on the other end of the camera or video intercom device. This feature can be particularly useful for doorbells or video intercoms, as users can answer calls and have conversations with visitors remotely. Furthermore, the Hik-Connect app provides the option to arm or disarm security control panels remotely. This means that users can activate or deactivate their security systems even when they are not physically present at the location. The app also allows users to share their devices with others, granting limited permissions to individuals who may need access to the surveillance footage. Lastly, the app offers a convenient and secure fingerprint login feature, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access the app and its functionalities.

Why is the version shown on Appspicked different from the app-store version?

Which devices and operating systems support Hik?

Hik is listed for Android, with a reported minimum requirement of Not specified. Actual compatibility may also depend on the device model, region, available storage, hardware features, and installed system components.

Is Hik free?

The initial download may be free, but subscriptions, advertising, paid features, or in-app purchases may still apply. Prices and available purchases can vary by country and version. Check the payment information displayed by Google Play before completing a transaction.

What should I do if Hik cannot be installed or updated?

Check the network connection, storage space, operating-system version, account region, and device compatibility. Restart the device and try again through the official store. If the problem continues, consult the support resources provided by Hik-Connect.
